And then she was ONE!

Well how amazingly fast a year can go, My baby was one year old on the 16th August, the fastest year in history. She is so much more grown up than her brother was at one but then I guess she is a girl and they are always well ahead of the boys, she also has someone else to copy so unlike her brother she could see how life went, well before she was expected to do it where as Bob had to learn everything himself.
I know a boy cant learn everything from the TV but I sometimes wonder if he learnt how to be selfish and mean to his sister from watching countless episodes of "Poko"  Poko is always very mean to his dog "Minus" and really only loves his toy monkey "Mr Murphy". Anyway hopefully Bob will one day let Esther play with some of the presents she got for her birthday, even though he has claimed them as his own, what will a boy do with all those dollies and the dolls bed when his mates come around to play.

Esther had a wonderfull birthday and certainly has enough new clothes to open her own store or to have her own walk-in robe. She also enjoyed eating a lot of cake. Thanks everyone for all the lovely well wishes and presents and she is now looking forward to christmas and hopefully her brother will let her keep her own presents because he will get some of his own,
One of the first toys that her brother claimed.

Nanny Ella and Esther in front of the cake

Happy Birthday to Esther!

These cakepops are yum!

Looking like road kill after eating a cakepop
Another Birthday Song with her cousin Georgia

Bob let her keep the card!

Bob also opened all the presents

But he let her keep all the clothes, Thanks Bob!

This is mine and this is mine!

She got to push the old pram with one of the new dolls

Lucky for Esther she can stick up for herself and she just takes back what she wants and she dosnt have as much afternoon sleep as Bob so she plays with all the toys then. She has also learnt to scream when your not looking so Bob gets the blame for pushing her even when he hasnt. GIRLS ARE SNEAKY LITTLE THINGS EVEN WHEN THEY ARE ONLT ONE!
Happy Birthdat Esther we love your work

A mish mash of photo's

More photos without many words because Im lazy
What went inside Maddy's I spy Bag

The bag above I made for Maddy, the circle is a clear panel, the bag is filled with plastic filling beads and then all the trinkets in the first photo, the idea is you fiddle with the bag until you find all the things.
Bob's special drawer box

Stephen made this little box for Bob, its like a money box with a slot at the top and he has buttons that he drops through into the drawer but typically Bob pulls the drawer out and watches where and how the buttons fall into the box
